Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
Philippians 4:11-13 NLT
“Waiting on my time”
“Waiting on my season”
“My future is gonna be bright!”
Your time is now. Your season is now. You shine bright right now! Right here in this moment.
I understand struggle, pain, and wanting more than you have right now. Believe me I do. But we have to stop being a people who are always waiting for the next moment! The next big break, the next true love, the next great pay out…Do you realize we had a huge break this morning waking up breathing with the ability to read this, are in relationship with a God that is truly in love with us and who is paying out right now blessings and promising to meet every need?
Here's the thing, we are so worried about tomorrow that we’ve lost focus on the influence and authority we have in this very moment. We're not looking at the provision sitting right in front of us. Right now you mean the world to someone. Right now you are reaching great numbers of people with those sitting right in front of you. Right now you are living a life that another person desires. It's your choice if you are going to enjoy it and live it to the fullest. Because the reality is, tomorrow may never come for you. You might not live to see the next “big break”. So if you're waiting for “your time” you're missing it because your time is right now. You wouldn’t be alive if there was no purpose for you in this moment. You wouldn’t be alive if God had no intentions of providing for you in this moment.
Live in today. Praise God for what you have in today! Look forward to the future but don't neglect the now! If it’s rough, remember what verse 13 says…Hold on to Christ, let His strength pull you through every moment!
It's been your time. Catch up!
