Everyday we are bound to face the possibility of being distracted. Guarantee you as you have begun to step out in purpose distractions have hit you from all directions some you may have recognized others, eh not so much. We have all fallen into the traps of social networks, some random game we’ve downloaded from an app store, accepting too many invitations out with friends, a significant hike in date offers, too many naps, or that reality show marathon...
When there is super purpose on the inside of you, like we know there is, and you are actually working to fulfill it...some days you have to disconnect from the internet or any push notifications, tell your friends not this time so you’re not too exhausted for important tasks, and turn the TV off! Yeah, yeah seems quite obvious but not many of us are able to do it consistently. Find balance and remain that way lest you find yourself all the way back at point A. Set time aside for your purpose tasks and time aside for play. Stay focused by following the purpose that God placed in your heart.
Acts 11:23 When he came and had seen the grace of God, he was glad, and encouraged them all that with purpose of heart they should continue with the Lord.
